About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and maintaining relationships with kitchen and bath showroom dealers across California. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can confidently represent the company and brand while primarily working on the road to sign on new showroom dealers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue accounts with kitchen and bath showrooms in California.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular site visits, calls, and follow-up.
  • Stay informed on product offerings and industry trends to effectively communicate options and benefits to clients.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive outreach and exceptional client service.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and progress in the CRM.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in cabinetry, home improvement, or related industries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Commitment to providing a positive customer experience and building trusted relationships.
  • Familiarity with cabinetry, kitchen and bath design, or related fields is a plus.
  • Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites and meetings.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cabinetry sales (3 years preferred).
