About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager at United Electronic Recycling is responsible for generating new customers and managing existing accounts within the electronic recycling sector. This role emphasizes building relationships, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the company's green mission. The position is integral to the sales team, focusing on both new business development and maintaining a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Generating new customers through networking, events, and calls, site visits
• Responding to assigned web leads and call-in customers
• Managing a book of business comprised of existing customers
• Visiting customers and canvassing areas with potential for new business
• Managing service requests for existing customers
• Gathering contact information of potential customers through phone call lists
• Recording new contact information from industry and promotional events, trade shows, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of sales experience
• 3 years of customer service experience
• 1 year of account management experience
• 2 years of communication skills experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
