You will be responsible for making strategic recommendations to both new and existing customers, helping them to prevent pest issues while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. In this position, you will prioritize safety and professionalism in all interactions, serving as a trusted partner to your clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections of commercial properties, identifying pest-related issues, and providing tailored solutions that address customer needs. You will utilize marketing tools to drive new business development and achieve sales goals through prospecting and managing assigned leads. The role also involves using technology, such as an iPad, to prepare sales agreements and maintain organization in your workflow. With a focus on building long-term relationships, you will be expected to listen to customer needs and provide empathetic problem-solving to ensure their satisfaction with Orkin's services. Responsibilities

  • Understand Orkin's products and services and how to sell them to various industries.
  • Make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to help prevent pests and uphold quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct inspections of the interior and exterior of commercial properties.
  • Provide tailored solutions based on inspections and customer needs.
  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and managing assigned leads.
  • Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
  • Prepare sales agreements using provided technology and stay organized.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and serve as an empathetic problem solver.

Requirements

  • No experience required, but sales experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
  • Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales is preferred.
