About the position

As a Business Development Manager at EmployBridge in Austin, TX, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by attracting new customers and maintaining relationships with existing ones. This position offers a base salary along with commission earning potential, allowing you to maximize your income based on your performance. Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with decision-makers, including executives, throughout the buying process, and utilizing various communication channels such as phone, social media, face-to-face meetings, and email to connect with potential clients. You will be expected to leverage your existing partnerships to expand the prospect funnel and target higher quality leads. In this role, you will act as a market leader by connecting with networking groups, trade associations, and social media groups to enhance your outreach. Pre-call planning will be essential, as you will need to conduct market research to gain insights into customer challenges, identify key stakeholders, and encourage customers to think about transforming their business operations. You will provide consultative account management, ensuring post-sale support, frequent contact, and follow-up with clients. Additionally, you will lead strategic market-related conversations and present upsell opportunities based on the clients' needs. To succeed in this position, you should possess a vivacious attitude, a competitive spirit, and a love for challenges. Building relationships at all organizational levels, including the C-suite, Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, and peer-level associates, will be key to your success. You will be responsible for growing a book of business in your local territory, utilizing your sales ability and business acumen. Proven experience in meeting or exceeding weekly goals to bring in new accounts through innovative methods such as Lead Generation, Vidyard, Zoom, and LinkedIn will be essential. Creativity in using EmployBridge's innovative technology to reach clients and prospects will also be a significant aspect of your role.

Responsibilities
