About the position

The Outside Sales Consultant at Resource Label Group is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the company's market position and driving financial growth. This position involves building and maintaining key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating deals. The consultant will engage in new business development, customer retention, and account planning, requiring collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business through strategic prospecting.
• Develop tactical plans to maintain and expand services with existing and assigned accounts.
• Proactively identify new customers and new project opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between customer and organization throughout the sales and production process.
• Establish high-level relationships and gain a clear understanding of customers' business and requirements.
• Provide regular reporting to management on customer and industry trends, challenges, etc.
• Update and maintain sales activity, as well as customer and prospect information within Salesforce CRM.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to answer questions and provide information regarding new products, capabilities, and services.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Forecast and meet monthly and annual sales targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience within printing, packaging or folding carton required; label experience is strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of printing is essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills are required.
• Ability to resolve problems effectively is necessary.
• Positive demeanor and ability to work well with customers and company employees are essential.
• Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods of time as required.
