About the position

A&B Distributors is looking for a motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join their team. This role focuses on generating leads, attracting new clients, and closing deals within a designated territory. The representative will be responsible for building relationships with customers, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals to ensure continuous business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory.
• Meet or exceed designated sales targets.
• Create and implement an effective sales strategy.
• Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) program.
• Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in outside sales to restaurants.
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive attitude and ability to be persistent.
