About the position

Atlas Toyota Material Handling, part of the Atlas Companies, is currently hiring a full-time Outside Sales Development Representative based out of our Brooklyn Park, MN location. We are seeking an entry-level sales representative to join our team and promote industrial floor cleaning equipment for our Eastern Minnesota/Western Wisconsin territory. Atlas Toyota Material Handling, part of the Atlas Companies, is an authorized Toyota Forklift Dealer committed to providing quality service, premium equipment, and innovative solutions for companies of all sizes.

Responsibilities

  • Handle prospecting and lead generation within and outside of assigned territory
  • Work closely with territory sales representatives who manage the full spectrum of Atlas material handling solutions
  • Set up appointments to examine customer needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Maintain excellent customer relations by ensuring their needs are met and resolve complaints in a timely manner
  • Conduct 50+ outbound calls per week
  • Work closely with sales representatives to meet individual and group sales quotas
  • Develop innovative sales strategies to increase sales within an assigned territory
  • Assist sales representatives with industrial floor cleaning equipment quotes, demos, and closing sales
  • Present industrial floor cleaning products to prospective customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatory
  • 2 years of business-to-business sales experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Light mechanical experience
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
