Kinsley Power Systems is looking for an Outside Sales Engineer to drive sales of industrial power generation applications and related equipment. The role involves engaging with various stakeholders including end-users, engineers, electrical contractors, and municipalities to meet sales targets and foster long-term relationships. Responsibilities

• Pursue new project opportunities and close sales.
• Influence quote development, equipment selection, and project terms while ensuring customer support during the warranty period.
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas by targeting specific customer types and identifying opportunities with existing accounts.
• Negotiate and close deals that generate significant revenue and margins.
• Understand the complete suite of products and services to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Make joint sales calls with technical/engineering sales resources to provide in-depth technical knowledge.
• Develop long-term relationships with customer decision makers and influencers.
• Maintain customer/project data in CRM software, tracking active projects and documenting business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven passion and success in sales.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong customer service focus with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight travel as required.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid state driver's license.
