As an Outside Sales Food Representative at Gordon Food Service, you will play a crucial role in the sales and relationship management efforts for both existing and prospective customers within your designated territory, which spans from Kittery to York in York County, Maine. You will be responsible for pursuing new customer opportunities, deepening relationships with current clients, and managing your sales territory effectively. Responsibilities

  • Manage overall sales and relationship efforts for existing and prospective customers within the assigned territory.
  • Pursue new customer opportunities and deepen relationships with current clients.
  • Effectively manage sales territory to achieve personal and company goals.
  • Utilize sales support resources and e-tools to assist with organization and selling strategies.
  • Ensure order fulfillment accuracy through sophisticated warehouse systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or culinary certificate preferred.
  • At least 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification.
  • Maintain a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
