About the position

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the Residential Sales Department, including hiring and training staff, communicating sales targets, and generating leads for the sales team. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning to drive sales initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the Residential Sales Department.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor residential sales staff.
  • Communicate sales targets and management directives to the sales team.
  • Allocate leads among Sales Representatives.
  • Plan and oversee local and regional sales initiatives, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Develop and execute hiring and training strategies for new Sales Representatives.
  • Coordinate and direct all sales activities at local and regional levels.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Address customer complaints regarding services.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients.
  • Establish sales quotas and objectives.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the sales team.
  • Identify and pursue emerging markets to capitalize on new sales prospects.
  • Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction sales is required.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive in-field sales training, including door-to-door sales techniques.
  • Ability to deliver training on siding and windows to the sales team.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.

Benefits

  • Compensation based on experience, with a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
