As the Outside Sales Manager for Hilton Arlington National Landing, you will play a crucial role in representing the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers. Your primary focus will be on driving sales and revenue for the hotel, which is strategically located in Arlington, Virginia, just minutes away from Washington D.C. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, as you will be responsible for responding to inquiries from potential clients seeking accommodations, meeting spaces, food and beverage services, and more. You will also be expected to travel outside the hotel to initiate new sales opportunities, solicit leads, and present proposals to prospective clients. In addition to generating new business, you will develop and maintain strong client relationships, hosting and entertaining clients as needed to foster long-term partnerships. Negotiating contracts and determining pricing strategies will be essential to align with the hotel's revenue goals. You will create and implement sales strategies aimed at meeting or exceeding room night and revenue targets, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client bookings and event planning. Your role will also involve attending industry events and networking opportunities to build a robust pipeline of potential business. Conducting market research to stay informed on competitor offerings and industry trends will be part of your responsibilities, as well as providing ongoing support to clients from inquiry through contract completion. Regular meetings with the Director of Sales will be necessary to review sales performance and adjust strategies as needed, along with performing other duties as assigned by management.
