About the position

We are looking for a full-time Outside Sales Manager to act as a supervisor for outside sales representatives. The primary focus of this role will be on building the Underline brand in Colorado Springs and Fountain, while educating and converting potential residential customers. This position works closely with and reports directly to the local Director of Community Engagement to execute in-market campaigns, activations, events, and assorted programs. Our approach to marketing and community engagement is grounded in grassroots, campaign-style tactics, making this position critical for the execution of our strategy. You will spend your time helping us connect America, one community at a time. As the Outside Sales Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager of Revenue and manage personal sales goals as well as the overall team goals. You will oversee the sales team in their daily tasks and assignments, with the assistance of the General Manager for support. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming leads and assigning them to representatives for follow-up or closing the sale. You will also manage the daily activities of the team to ensure they are meeting their sales goals, work with the General Manager to set team goals and activity metrics, and establish sales strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing protocols for the start and end of the day to ensure the team is set up for daily success. You will be the primary point of contact for Sales Rabbit and oversee its management. Collaborating with the Director for any specific organizational points of contact that we deem necessary, such as professional organizations, HOA's, and property managers, will also be part of your role. You will work in conjunction with the General Manager on team training and education, as well as with the marketing team to establish community programs and events. Managing the weekly inventory of marketing supplies and executing a programmatic approach to grassroots marketing to help Colorado Springs and Fountain residents understand the value of Underline will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales Rabbit and oversee its management.
  • Collaborate with the Director for necessary organizational relationships.
  • Assist in team training and education with the General Manager.
  • Work with marketing to establish community programs and events.
  • Manage weekly inventory of marketing supplies.
  • Help residents understand the value of Underline through grassroots marketing.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading a sales team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on influencing others.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities at once.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Disciplined and self-starter.
  • Ability to work well with people of different communication styles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in Spanish (written and/or spoken).
  • Strong network of relationships in Colorado Springs and/or Fountain.
  • Experience working on civic and/or mission-based projects for communities.
