Our team is looking to bring on a Sales Manager for the Southeast territory! The Sales Manager's primary responsibility is to achieve and exceed sales growth targets in the assigned territory. This role is crucial in identifying and qualifying opportunities, responding to inquiries, developing and delivering proposals, and successfully closing sales in radiation therapy and industrial markets. The Sales Manager will be based within the territory, working indoors 50% of the time and traveling for customer presentations the remaining time. The target audience includes potential or existing customers and key influencers such as construction and product distributors, industrial manufacturers or distributors, medical equipment manufacturers, regional construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and architects specializing in medical facilities and national corporate medical facilities. Architectural and consulting firms are also part of the target audience. In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Sales Manager will drive market growth through lead development, identification of new selling opportunities, account prospecting, and solicitation of new material and installation bids. Establishing and nurturing account relationships to ensure long-term partnerships is essential. The Sales Manager must demonstrate a high comfort level with direct sales and cold calls, whether over the phone or in person. Compiling potential customer lists to target effectively is also a key part of the role. The Sales Manager will represent company products and capabilities in face-to-face interactions with customers, prepare and finalize sales agreements to secure deals, and represent the company at technical meetings, trade shows, and product knowledge presentations. Soliciting and delivering presentations for the company at national corporate medical facilities, distributors, and equipment manufacturers is also part of the job. Developing relationships for the company with key influencers, including medical equipment manufacturers, contractors, architectural firms, and consulting physicist groups, is crucial for success in this role.
