About the position

The position involves assisting the Branch Manager in achieving sales goals and branch revenue objectives. The individual will monitor daily sales performances and make necessary adjustments to meet sales budgets while ensuring compliance with all company sales policies within the assigned branch. This role is crucial in increasing unit sales and revenue by implementing, teaching, and enforcing company sales practices. The candidate will conduct twice-weekly evening call sessions, daily sales postings, and weekly training meetings, working closely with sales associates to maintain minimum sales activity requirements. Additionally, the position requires ensuring that all sales training requirements are met and improving the productivity and sales skills of sales professionals. Evaluating the use of sales aids and sales formulas, monitoring creative and methodical sales programs, and ensuring the proper use of sales materials and inventory are also key responsibilities. The candidate is expected to set an excellent management example and maintain a quality image for the branch.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Branch Manager in attaining all sales goals and branch revenue objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with all company sales policies in the assigned branch.
  • Increase unit sales and dollars by implementing, teaching, and enforcing company sales practices.
  • Conduct twice weekly evening call sessions, daily sales posting, and weekly training meetings.
  • Work in the field with sales associates daily and maintain minimum sales activity requirements.
  • Ensure all sales training requirements are achieved.
  • Improve sales professionals' productivity and sales skills.
  • Evaluate sales professionals' use of sales aids and sales formula.
  • Monitor and ensure creative and methodically sound sales programs, proper use of sales materials and inventory of sales materials.
  • Set an excellent management example and quality image.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education (GED) required.
  • 2 or 4 year degree strongly preferred.
  • 1-2 years sales management experience required.
  • 3-5 years outside sales experience required.
  • Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to perform basic business mathematics and analyze sales data.
  • Ability to acquire licenses/certificates as required by federal, state or local agencies.
  • Ability to acquire valid driver's license.
