About the position

The Outside Sales Manager at Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark is responsible for managing accounts to ensure guest satisfaction and to solicit new and past business, aiming to achieve or exceed all revenue goals. This role involves maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques, maintaining relationships with key accounts, and representing the hotel at various events.

Responsibilities

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates to meet brand standards.
  • Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions that satisfy customer requirements.
  • Manage accounts ensuring solicitation and closing processes are documented.
  • Coordinate participation of various departments in servicing accounts.
  • Maintain relationships with key accounts to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Develop and conduct persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Articulate and leverage hotel benefits to close sales opportunities.
  • Travel locally to conduct outside calls and promote the hotel.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM's EarthView program.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related industry preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales required, with previous hospitality sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a varied schedule, including holidays and weekends.
