About the position

The Outside Sales Manager at Miami Valley Roofing & Restoration is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals. This role emphasizes structured planning, sales training, and continuous motivation to enhance team performance. The manager will collaborate closely with the Inside Sales Manager to foster a dynamic, goal-driven culture aligned with the company's values.

Responsibilities

  • Devise daily strategic plans with the sales team to maximize productivity and results.
  • Direct the team's daily operations, emphasizing company-generated leads, canvassing, cold calling, and Centers of Influence (COIs).
  • Conduct three sales team huddles weekly to review goals, progress, and challenges.
  • Set and monitor weekly/monthly sales targets and performance benchmarks.
  • Develop performance incentives, contests, and challenges with prior approval from upper management.
  • Use SMART goals and SWAT analysis to drive data-informed team planning and assessments.
  • Ensure accountability by tracking results and aligning team performance with MVR's objectives.
  • Promote MVR's values and culture, ensuring each team member reflects these in their client interactions.
  • Mentor new sales reps onboarded by the Inside Sales Manager, providing consistent training and guidance.
  • Partner with the Inside Sales Manager to strategize, align, and communicate company-wide objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of team management experience in roofing sales or a closely related field.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Acculynx experience is a plus).
