About the position

A1 Electrical is looking for an experienced Outside Sales & Project Manager to join their team. This role combines sales expertise with project management skills in the electrical industry, focusing on developing new business opportunities and overseeing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and a proven track record in sales and project management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Generate leads and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
• Partner with the Sales & Business Development Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed of project status, delays, and milestones.

Requirements

• Proven experience in outside sales and project management in the electrical industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
• Knowledge of other construction trades, such as plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry, is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid CA driver's license.
