About the position

The Outside Sales Regional Account Manager at K+S Services is responsible for managing relationships and orders with existing manufacturing customers while also expanding the customer base by acquiring new clients. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, including cold calling and prospecting, and emphasizes the importance of customer satisfaction and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current customers and obtain new customers in a defined geographic territory.
  • Cold call and prospect for new business.
  • Manage a book of open orders to ensure customers are informed and satisfied.
  • Update your CRM daily and design your schedule around an organized outside sales approach.
  • Build relationships with customers at all levels of their organizations.
  • Help solve customers' problems and keep the industry running.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of Industrial sales experience is required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong solution selling skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development, and time management
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Valid Driver's License

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates / Bachelor's degree in business, sales, engineering or related discipline is preferred
  • Background in industrial component and automation repairs is preferred
