Maly's @ ManocoBlue is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team, focusing primarily on the Detroit area. Our mission is to supply our clients with premium products and cutting-edge education to enhance their salon skills. We are committed to providing personalized customer service to help salons grow and achieve success. This full-time position offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where you will be responsible for developing relationships and new business opportunities within your territory. You will be expected to meet assigned revenue targets and adhere to all Account Manager guidelines. In this role, you will be responsible for attaining sales goals through effective territory management, which includes communicating promotions, taking customer orders, and assisting with returns. You will also act as a business consultant, monitor accounts receivable, and collaborate with management to support education initiatives in your territory. Timely communication and follow-up with team members and customers are essential, as is maintaining accurate records in systems like NetSuite and Salesforce. You will be expected to maintain excellent customer service, respond to inquiries promptly, and develop a structured sales route visiting approximately 50 salons each week. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to establish rapport with customers and coworkers. You should be self-directed, a positive team player, and willing to travel 70-80% of the time, including overnight trips. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, along with an active cell phone plan.
