About the position

The Outside Sales Representative - Sales Development Representative is an entry-level position focused on generating revenue through new customer acquisition and account management in the mobile surveillance services sector. The role emphasizes proactive sales strategies, relationship building, and achieving sales quotas while providing exceptional service to clients in the commercial construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas set by the company.
• Create and execute a proactive sales plan, consistently prospecting new business opportunities.
• Apply BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, and Timing) principles to assess leads.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing all opportunities through Salesforce.
• Cultivate relationships with target accounts at all levels, employing direct sales techniques and conducting on-site meetings.
• Promote the company's value proposition by providing technical solutions to clients.
• Utilize LinkedIn and other prospecting intelligence resources to enhance outreach.
• Negotiate and close sales or service agreements with clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's solutions and services.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of sales experience, preferably in software (SaaS) or service-based opportunities.
• Proven track record of sales achievement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify customer needs.
• Proficient in applying BANT methodology to assess and prioritize sales opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in Salesforce CRM (preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
