FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., and we are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role is crucial as it involves selling FleetPride products and services to both current and prospective customers in a competitive business-to-business environment. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for maximizing sales and gross profit within a defined territory by growing share within existing customers and acquiring new customers. A successful candidate will be adept at solving customer problems and creating mutual value, all while embracing a performance-focused, high accountability sales culture. The Outside Sales Representative will engage in account planning, understanding the share of wallet and identifying opportunities to sell more products within accounts. They will leverage sales force automation tools to identify competitive situations and maintain updated account plans throughout the year. Call planning is also a key responsibility, where the representative will prepare for sales calls by anticipating barriers and utilizing CRM tools to detail call records and results efficiently. In addition to account and call planning, the Outside Sales Representative will assess customer needs by asking open-ended questions and establishing trust. They will maintain open dialogue with customers to communicate the value FleetPride delivers and identify ways to increase mutual value. Teamwork is essential, as the representative will need to collaborate with various teams and resources within FleetPride to maximize business results. A strong understanding of FleetPride's product offerings and the ability to leverage this knowledge to provide the best solutions for customers is also critical.
