About the position

The Outside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with clients, serving as a key player in the company's sales strategy. This position is designed for individuals who excel in B2B sales and are eager to showcase their expertise in developing strategies to grow an existing business book while also prospecting for new clients. Successful candidates will be skilled communicators and strategic thinkers, driven by the desire to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company. In this role, the Outside Sales Rep will conduct active sales visits to both new and existing customers, demonstrating new products, explaining promotions, and identifying stocking opportunities. Collaboration with store and operations personnel is essential to enhance service quality and resolve any client issues that may arise. The representative will be responsible for signing up new accounts, growing sales, and achieving individual sales growth plans, all while implementing and supporting the company's sales promotions. The position requires scheduling appointments with clients, ensuring that a minimum of 15 in-person sales meetings are completed each day. Documentation of all sales calls in the company's industry-leading CRM system is mandatory, either during or immediately after each visit. Additionally, the Outside Sales Rep will evaluate the frequency of client sales calls and establish a consistent pre-set appointment schedule. Attendance at meetings, conferences, and association functions is also expected as part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct active sales visits for new and existing customers, demonstrating new products and explaining promotions.
  • Work cooperatively with store and operations personnel to improve service and resolve client issues.
  • Sign up new accounts and grow sales to achieve individual sales growth plans.
  • Implement and support the company's sales promotions.
  • Schedule appointments with clients and coordinate with their schedules.
  • Complete a minimum of 15 in-person sales meetings with clients each day.
  • Fully document all sales calls in the CRM during or immediately after each visit.
  • Evaluate the frequency of client sales calls and establish a consistent pre-set appointment schedule.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and association functions as scheduled.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state driver's license and insurance
  • Must have your vehicle
  • Always maintain a professional appearance
