FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., and we are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling FleetPride products and services to both current and prospective customers in a competitive business-to-business selling environment. Your primary goal will be to maximize sales and gross profit within a defined territory by growing share within existing customers and acquiring new customers. A successful Outside Sales Representative will excel at solving customer problems and creating mutual value, all while embracing a performance-focused, high accountability sales culture. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will need to develop and maintain a deep understanding of FleetPride's value propositions, sales processes, account management, and industry best practices. You will engage in account planning, where you will analyze the share of wallet and identify opportunities to sell more products within your accounts. You will leverage sales force automation tools to track opportunities and maintain updated account plans throughout the year. Call planning will also be a critical part of your role, as you will prepare for sales calls by anticipating barriers and determining objectives ahead of time. Your ability to assess customer needs will be vital. You will ask open-ended questions to uncover current and future sales opportunities, establishing trust and engaging customers in discussions about their business needs. You will maintain open dialogue with customers to communicate the value FleetPride delivers and identify ways to increase mutual value. Teamwork is essential, as you will collaborate with various teams and resources within FleetPride to maximize business results and resolve customer issues effectively. Additionally, you will need to possess a strong understanding of the major parts offered by FleetPride, how they interrelate, and how to leverage this knowledge to provide the best solutions for customers. Continuous improvement in product knowledge will be encouraged through interactions with internal and external experts. Success in this role will be measured by territory sales, customer account mix, and territory gross margin.
