As an Outside Sales Rep at United Rentals, you will be the voice and initial point of contact for our industry-leading company. This role is pivotal in maximizing revenue from facilities and construction sites within a defined geographical territory. You will leverage your exceptional sales and consultative skills to understand the needs of interested parties and convert them into loyal customers. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and outgoing, with a passion for engaging with customers, building relationships, and selling our equipment and services. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and their subsidiary companies, acting as a single point of contact for these clients. You will also be tasked with prospecting and qualifying new accounts, including dormant or non-customer accounts and competitor accounts. Collaboration with specialty division representatives will be essential to promote cross-selling opportunities. You will prepare sales action plans and strategies, develop and present company products and services to current and potential clients, and utilize Sales Force.com and other CRM tools to build a pipeline of opportunities. Additionally, monitoring competitors, market conditions, and product development will be part of your role, along with other duties as assigned. This position includes a base salary and monthly commissions based on performance, with a minimum monthly guarantee incentive provided during the onboarding and learning process. It is important to note that this position is deemed Safety Sensitive according to United Rentals' policies and procedures.
