As an Outside Sales Rep - Mobile Storage at United Rentals, you will be the voice and initial point of contact for our industry-leading company. Your primary responsibility will be to lease and sell a variety of storage products, including ground level offices, mobile offices, modular buildings, liquid storage tanks, and ancillary products. This role requires you to utilize your exceptional sales and consultative skills to understand the needs of potential customers and convert them into loyal clients. You will be expected to maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites within a defined geographical territory, while also maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and their subsidiary companies. Acting as a single point of contact for these customers, you will prospect and qualify new accounts, including dormant or non-customer accounts and competitor accounts. In addition to direct sales responsibilities, you will collaborate with specialty division representatives to promote cross-selling opportunities. You will prepare sales action plans and strategies, develop and deliver presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients, and utilize Sales Force.com and other CRM tools to build a pipeline of opportunities. Monitoring competitors, market conditions, and product development will also be part of your duties, along with any other responsibilities assigned as needed.
