As an Outside Sales Representative at Sysco, you will be an integral part of our World Class Sales Team, focusing on promoting our products and services while building strong relationships with both new and existing accounts. The selected candidate will begin in our upcoming sales class on August 19, 2024, and will be responsible for a sales territory that includes Richmond, MI, Port Huron, MI, and Lexington, MI. It is essential that candidates reside within this territory. The position requires a commitment to helping Sysco customers succeed while achieving the sales and profit goals established by the company. You will need to be flexible with your schedule, as this role may require working non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet customer needs effectively. In this role, you will develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth. You will research customer business needs, evaluate market trends, and recommend products based on those needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing product information and training to customer personnel, managing deliveries, and participating in company functions and promotions.
