As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the roofing assessment and installation process. Your primary focus will be on canvassing neighborhoods, particularly those affected by weather-related damage, to identify potential customers and assess their roofing needs. In this position, you will engage directly with homeowners, guiding them through the roof assessment process, assisting with insurance claims, and ensuring successful outcomes. You will spend a significant amount of time in the field, meeting clients face-to-face and building your portfolio rapidly. The role requires a proactive approach, where your ability to read people and build relationships will be crucial to your success. Responsibilities

  • Canvass door-to-door to identify potential customers in areas affected by weather-related damage.
  • Assess and document storm damage on roofs, providing accurate and detailed reports.
  • Educate homeowners on the roofing replacement process and available solutions.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and high-quality service.

Requirements

  • Over 2 years of experience in sales or a similar in-home sales industry.
  • Proven track record of identifying prospects and successfully closing deals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, storm damage assessment, and replacement solutions.
  • Proficient in using technology for lead management and communication.
  • Ability to carry a ladder and climb on roofs.
  • Ability to work in all Florida weather conditions.
