Responsibilities

  • Understand Orkin's products and services and how to sell them to various industries.
  • Make strategic recommendations to new and existing businesses to help prevent pests and satisfy regulatory standards.
  • Solve problems and build trusted relationships with clients as an essential partner for their business.
  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
  • Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
  • Conduct inspections of the interior and exterior of clients' commercial properties.
  • Make recommendations to clients based on inspections and address any questions they may have.
  • Prepare sales agreements using the provided iPad and stay organized with training provided.

Requirements

  • Sales experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
  • Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service or sales roles.
  • Familiarity with pest management services or related industries.
