About the position

Packaging Services Industries, Inc. (PSI) is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Baltimore County, MD territory. This position is designed for motivated individuals who are eager to establish new accounts and develop strong relationships with customers in a business-to-business environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and servicing existing contacts while also acting as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal staff. This role requires a commitment to understanding and meeting customer specifications and expectations, as well as following up on past due accounts. The compensation structure includes a base salary plus commissions, with an average entry-level package starting at $75,000. In this role, you will be expected to develop new, profitable accounts and maintain consistent contact with clients. You will prepare and deliver proposals and presentations, assist in preparing annual sales forecasts, and ensure that customer needs are met effectively. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of prior experience in an Outside Sales Representative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge and experience with CRM systems
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to calculate formulas, commissions, measurements, and percentages
