The Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager role at 88 West is designed for an organized and experienced individual who will initiate contact with potential and existing clients to create tailored proposals that meet their marketing needs. This position involves traveling within a designated territory to discuss marketing goals, showcase brand development, and negotiate sales contracts. The role is hybrid, requiring in-territory residence around Gulf Shores, AL, and includes responsibilities such as attending local events, generating sales leads, and maintaining relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Travel assigned territories to meet with potential and current clients.
  • Discuss marketing goals and showcase brand development, website, and social media creative.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and inform clients of new product and service releases.
  • Attend local events and college trade shows to identify potential sales leads.
  • Follow industry trends and community leads to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Generate and submit sales reports to management.
  • Find prospects via cold calling and emailing.
  • Pursue inbound leads and maintain a high level of activity in calls, presentations, and proposals.
  • Research target accounts and develop account-specific strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members in a dynamic environment.
  • Prepare and deliver relevant sales presentations.
  • Manage the complete sales process and document activity in the database.
  • Close business and develop relationships with existing customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
  • Computer knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn other database applications.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
  • Flexibility with working hours.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Access to a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate as part of a team.
