About the position

As our business continues to grow, we have a career opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager that will cover the area of Boston. This position is crucial as we are the leader in the industrial field of stationary and portable compressed air systems, representing a world-renowned air compressor manufacturer. The Sales Representative will report directly to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers while maximizing equipment sales. This role requires identifying and developing new business opportunities within the designated territory, establishing strong business relationships with customers and suppliers, and assessing their needs to propose effective equipment solutions for energy conservation. The representative will also prepare quotations and present products and services to customers, ensuring monitoring throughout the sales process. Additionally, updating customer information into the CRM software is a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and maximize equipment sales.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the designated territory.
  • Establish business relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Assess needs and propose equipment solutions for energy conservation.
  • Prepare quotations and present products and services to customers.
  • Monitor the sales process throughout the customer journey.
  • Update customer information into the CRM software.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial/mechanical sales.
  • Electromechanics or technical degree or compressed air experience is an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and result-driven mindset.
  • Team player and self-motivated.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and professional presentation skills.
  • Live in or in close proximity to the designated territory.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Valid driver's license.
