About the position

The Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager at FlooredAtHome is responsible for driving sales in the Northern New Jersey, Rockland County, and Westchester County areas. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service in the home improvement sector, particularly in hardwood refinishing and installation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a competitive spirit and a passion for the flooring industry.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their homes to consult and identify suitable products and services for their needs.
• Drive sales and achieve performance targets in the assigned territory.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing the sale.

Requirements

• BA/BS Required
• 2-5 years of experience as a top producer in an outside sales position
• At least 1 year of Home Improvement sales experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of motivation, professionalism, and organization
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
