This position requires a proactive approach to sales, where the representative will take ownership of outbound sales activities, including calls to potential customers, lead follow-ups, project pipeline management, and converting prospects to customers. The candidate must have the capability to create a detailed profile of prospective buyers and existing clients, identify and qualify business opportunities in under-penetrated territories, and collaborate with the Sales Manager on territory planning and event strategy. Additionally, maintaining a CRM database to track sales cycle metrics and build a pipeline is essential. The representative will be expected to achieve individual and company sales targets, providing regular updates to management on account status. Participation in client meetings, trade shows, networking events, and conferences is also part of the role. Integrating sales efforts with other organized marketing activities will be crucial for success in this position.
