What You'll Do: Identify and prospect new customers through targeted outreach efforts, including emails, outbound calls, and in-person visits. Present and promote company products and services to both prospective and existing clients. Proactively pursue and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability. Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively managing your territory in the Chicagoland area. Evaluate clients' first aid and safety needs to deliver tailored product and service recommendations. Facilitate negotiations and finalize service agreements with clients. Develop creative outreach strategies to expand our customer base and increase market penetration. Cultivate relationships across diverse sectors, including law enforcement, large enterprises, and small to medium-sized businesses and organizations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A seasoned sales professional with at least 5 years of proven success in outside sales roles.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to generate new leads and upsell to existing clients.
  • Experienced in delivering compelling in-person sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, and other sales-related tools and software.
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Curious, adaptable, and coachable, with a willingness to learn and embrace new tools and best practices.
  • A skilled listener adept at building rapport, overcoming objections, and finding innovative solutions.
  • Passionate about our mission of promoting first aid and safety in the community.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields is preferred.
  • Bonus points for experience selling AEDs or life-safety equipment to public agencies and businesses.
