About the position

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Tracy, CA. As a leader in the auto auction industry, ADESA operates over 50 locations across the United States, providing a wide array of vehicle services including repair and reconditioning, auction remarketing, and serving as market hub distribution centers. Our expansive inventory includes hundreds of thousands of vehicles from retail to commercial, OEM, and more. In the role of Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for actively hunting for growth opportunities to drive our business forward. This includes establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships to understand their needs and provide the right mix of ADESA products and services. Your efforts will directly impact our sales strategy and overall growth, making this a rewarding position for those who thrive in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue and engage with prospects
  • Generate new business leads and close deals
  • Effectively execute ADESA's Dealer Sales strategy
  • Prospect, upsell, and manage accounts to ensure growth in vehicles sold and purchased
  • Engage with customers and employees in a transparent, reliable, and positive manner
  • Demonstrate knowledge of products and services
  • Maximize technology
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Outside Sales experience
  • Territory management experience
  • Automotive industry experience preferred
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
