About the position

Join Sunbelt Rentals as an Outside Sales Representative (Commercial Power) and become part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to providing top-notch equipment rental services. In this role, you will be responsible for generating profitable sales from our Pump & Power division's fleet, which includes large generators, air compressors, temperature control units, and desiccant dehumidifiers. Your primary focus will be on the commercial market segment, catering to a diverse range of customers who require equipment for both short-term and long-term projects. This includes industries such as sand blasting, industrial coating, painting, power plants, surface preparation, manufacturing, large venues, special events, facility maintenance, and more. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will leverage your skills in B2B direct sales and project management to drive business growth. You will be expected to develop strong relationships with clients, understand their equipment needs, and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements. Your ability to effectively present business reviews and proposals to management will be crucial in achieving your sales targets. The role requires a proactive approach to new business development and customer retention, ensuring that Sunbelt Rentals remains the first choice for equipment rental in the industry. Responsibilities

  • Generate profitable sales from the rental of equipment in the Pump & Power division.
  • Cater to the commercial market segment, targeting customers with short-term and long-term equipment needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in various industries including construction, manufacturing, and event coordination.
  • Conduct presentations and business reviews to management and clients.
  • Utilize project management skills to oversee sales processes and customer interactions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies for customer retention.

Requirements

  • B2B direct sales and/or project management experience within the equipment industry required.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in new business development.
  • Ability to effectively give presentations and conduct business reviews.

Nice-to-haves
