As we continue to expand, we are seeking motivated individuals to join us as Outside Door-to-Door Sales Representatives. As an Outside Door-to-Door Sales Representative for roofing sales, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. You will engage directly with homeowners and businesses, educating them about our roofing services and generating leads through proactive outreach efforts. Your goal will be to build relationships, provide expert consultations, and secure roofing projects by effectively demonstrating the value of our services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential customers within designated residential areas through targeted door-to-door canvassing and networking efforts.
  • Approach homeowners and businesses to introduce Heritage Construction's roofing services.
  • Articulate service benefits, address inquiries, and provide detailed information about our offerings.
  • Establish rapport with homeowners to address their roofing needs.
  • Assess their requirements and offer tailored solutions based on our services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.
  • Proactively follow up with potential clients to answer questions, provide additional information, and facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, including contact details, preferences, and specific requirements.
  • Handle various responses professionally, including rejections, and pivot to the next opportunity with persistence and resilience.
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery throughout the sales process and act as a liaison between clients and our operations team.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets or quotas set by the company.
  • Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and progress towards goals.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Access to a half ton or larger truck, or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with roofing products and construction terminology is a plus.
