About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at Chemtek is responsible for managing and growing the enterprise-level account base in the asphalt paving sector. This role emphasizes customer engagement, relationship building, and sales performance, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and support. The representative will utilize innovative marketing strategies to generate leads and will be expected to maintain a high level of responsiveness to client inquiries and needs.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and initiate outbound calls to introduce potential clients to PavePro products.
  • Ensure the success of clients by providing guidance on product selection and offering consistent follow-up support regarding product usage and application.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, showing genuine interest in their needs and challenges.
  • Effectively close orders generated from inbound leads through direct sales efforts, maximizing conversion rates and revenue.
  • Log all sales activities, future tasks, and customer insights in Salesforce, managing activities and planning the day effectively.
  • Establish one-on-one relationships with customers, positioning oneself as a trusted advisor and providing personalized recommendations for cross-selling and upselling new products.
  • Deliver fast and responsive customer support, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues without delay.
  • Get to know the market and customers' needs inside out, confidently answering questions and solving problems related to PavePro products.
  • Strategically build and nurture a book of business focusing on generating annual recurring revenue.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven industrial sales experience, demonstrating a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong mechanical skills and a knack for technical details to help explain the benefits of PavePro's Asphalt Production Solutions clearly to clients.
  • Proficient with Salesforce or equivalent CRM software, with hands-on experience managing customer data, pipelines, and sales activities.
  • Ability to proactively generate new business opportunities and cultivate long-term relationships with clients.
  • Self-starter with exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of effectively prioritizing tasks and managing a busy schedule.
  • Strong cold-calling, networking, and appointment-setting skills, with a knack for identifying and engaging potential leads.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to ask questions and identify with the prospect or customer as a consultant.
  • Demonstrates superior proficiency in closing deals and negotiating agreements, leveraging persuasive techniques and a deep understanding of client requirements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
