About the position

We are looking for a hungry Door and Windows Outside Sales Super Star to join our sales team and thriving family-and employee-owned building materials and lumber company! This position offers a total compensation of $130K - $150K, which includes lucrative commissions. The ideal candidate should possess a hunter mentality and consistently prospect and pursue new business opportunities, which includes acquiring new customers and increasing sales by cross-selling building materials to existing lumber customers. Approximately 85% of your time will be spent prospecting, being in the field, cold calling, and engaging in face-to-face sales. The remaining 10%-15% of your time will be dedicated to in-store team meetings, one-on-ones, and training sessions. In this role, you will build and cultivate your own book of business while learning and mastering the company's internal sales software. You will primarily target contractors for residential or commercial construction projects, as the company sells hardware and lumber to contractors and DIY enthusiasts. This position is perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is hungry and incentivized by a high earning potential commission structure. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of outside sales experience.
  • Sales experience selling doors and windows to contractors for residential and commercial construction projects is preferred.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger for high earning potential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
