The Outside Sales Representative for Doors at Lumbermen's is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Actively listening to customers and prospects' needs
• Obtaining and growing personal knowledge of door product offerings
• Offering exceptional customer/vendor support and timely service
• Evaluating, motivating, and training both new and existing customers
• Understanding and executing the annual sales plan
• Developing and executing annual and monthly sales objectives in accordance with the business plan
• Performing analysis of market and territory needs
• Communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• 5 years' prior outside sales experience
• Entry door and/or building materials industry experience strongly desired
• Ability to market, sell and educate customers on both current and new products
• Ability to build and foster strong customer relationships
• Ability to overcome obstacles and challenges to drive for maximum customer-driven results
• Ability to make persuasive product presentations targeting customer needs
• Strong negotiation skills
• Self-starter/self-motivator
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Inquisitive with strong critical listening and analytical skills
