As a dynamic Outside Sales Representative, you will be the driving force behind our residential sales platform. You will have the opportunity to provide information on Mercury Broadband's reliable broadband service and emerging fiber network to potential customers while building and cultivating new relations. Embark on engaging adventures as you use your company issued vehicle to visit rural communities and neighborhoods to conduct door to door residential sales. This position is full-time and based in Ft. Wayne, IN, with an annual earning potential of $55,000, which includes commission. You will also receive the use of a company vehicle for work and cell phone reimbursement. The role involves conducting in-person residential sales, ensuring a positive customer experience, engaging with potential customers, delivering persuasive sales presentations, completing necessary documentation, and reporting activity through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visits to residential properties within designated territories to introduce and sell internet services (Door to Door).
  • Ensure a positive customer experience from the initial contact, addressing customer concerns and recommending the best products needed for each customer.
  • Approach potential customers with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a friendly demeanor, engaging in meaningful conversations to understand their internet needs and preferences.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations that highlight the advantages of our internet services, addressing customer inquiries and objections while promoting the benefits of our offerings.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork, including sales agreements, customer contracts, and any other necessary documentation.
  • Report activity and progress through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool on provided tablet.
  • Meet assigned goals monthly to grow your market.

Requirements

  • Proven customer facing experience (Retail Sales, Wireless, Telecom, etc.).
  • Flexible schedule that allows for evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to present product offers and explain services to potential customers.
  • At least 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to walk distances with frequent breaks between locations.
  • Ability to work in fluctuating weather conditions.
