About the position

Power Generator Sales Reliable Power Systems & Electrical Services, a leading home standby generator solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated and customer-centric Home Standby Generator Consultant to join our team. With a reputation for exceeding customer expectations, a high volume of leads, and over 20 years of industry experience, we offer an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to thrive in a dynamic and rewarding environment. As a Home Standby Generator Consultant, you will play a crucial role in meeting the backup power needs of residential customers throughout the South Florida region, from Port St. Lucie down through Broward County. This position involves direct engagement with homeowners, providing high-value in-home sales presentations tailored to the buyer's needs and ensuring a seamless transition from sale to installation. You will conduct in-home sales presentations that align with the buyer's wants and needs, perform morning, midday, afternoon, evening, and Saturday appointments to accommodate homeowner convenience, and follow up with customers through ServiceTitan to ensure all needs are met. Additionally, you will process after-sale paperwork and project requirements for a smooth handoff to our permitting and installation crews, attend scheduled company meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques, and follow our proven in-home sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home sales presentations that align with the buyer's wants and needs.
  • Perform morning, midday, afternoon, evening, and Saturday appointments to accommodate homeowner convenience.
  • Follow up with customers through ServiceTitan to ensure all needs are met.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to learn new subject matter quickly.
  • A customer-centric approach and a drive to succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Proficiency in using technology for sales presentations and follow-ups.
  • Reliable transportation to meet with customers in the designated service area.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in in-home sales or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar customer management software.
  • A background in electrical systems or generators is a plus, but not required.
