About the position

The Outside Sales Representative - Market Development at W.B. Mason Company, Inc. is responsible for enrolling new customers and expanding business categories by showcasing the company's product offerings and web capabilities. This role involves direct interaction with prospective clients to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction during the onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout assigned marketplaces to call on prospective customers.
  • Distribute marketing material to current and prospective clients.
  • Display or demonstrate merchandise to enhance customers' product knowledge.
  • Quote and provide contracted pricing as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with new customers during the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales specialists to convert sales leads.
  • Perform necessary account setup via MasonvilleGO for customer success.
  • Transition accounts to the account management team seamlessly.
  • Maintain relationships with Inside Sales, customers, and distribution staff.
  • Attend weekly Branch Sales Meetings.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to converse, read, and write in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) from a four-year college preferred, but not required.
