About the position

Family First Home Companions is a highly reputable in-home caregiving service dedicated to helping older adults throughout Long Island and surrounding communities maintain their independence and well-being at home. We are currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our marketing team. This role is crucial in building upon the existing relationships within the healthcare community in Nassau County, generating referrals for home care clients, and meeting with families to convert those referrals into new clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly in relationship marketing, and will be passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of older adults. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for planning and implementing weekly marketing activities, maintaining contact with social workers and nurses to develop referral relationships, and scheduling appointments with prospective clients. The role also involves attending industry events, providing in-home care consultations, delivering sales presentations to referral providers, and participating in community tabling events to share information about the company's services. Networking with elder care professionals to develop referral relationships and meeting quarterly sales and revenue goals are also key components of this position. Compensation for this role includes a base salary, a generous sales commission on all revenue generated, travel reimbursement, an expense account, and a performance bonus. Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience

  • Experience with giving sales presentations to groups
  • Ability to travel throughout Long Island and Queens
