The Outside Sales Representative position is a dynamic role focused on driving sales and building relationships with customers in a designated territory. In this role, the Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for introducing and selling various product and service lines to prospects and existing customers. This includes providing tailored service and software solutions to address customer document management challenges. The representative will act as the primary contact for customer accounts within their assigned territory, ensuring that all customer needs are met effectively and efficiently. To succeed, the representative must consistently hit monthly sales quotas by engaging in daily and weekly activities that build a robust pipeline of qualified prospects. This involves conducting thorough customer needs analyses, drafting proposals, and delivering compelling product presentations and demonstrations. The role requires a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment and possesses strong time management skills to perform with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce and sell product/service lines to prospects and customers in designated territory.
  • Provide service and software solutions to solve customer document management issues.
  • Act as the contact person for customer accounts within assigned territory.
  • Hit monthly sales quota by performing required daily/weekly activities to build a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Complete customer needs analysis, draft proposals, and provide product presentations and demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and metrics-oriented.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in cold calling in person or via phone.
  • Successful in generating business leads via cold calling, onsite visits, and other methods.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Reliable transportation.
