The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining and developing product sales within the assigned territory, which includes Central Florida, the Villages, Ocala, the Mid West Coast, and the Mid East Coast. This role requires the acquisition of new business accounts while upholding TFC's high standards of service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and the capability to build strong relationships within the territory. The representative will personally call on accounts to promote TFC's product portfolio, prospect for new accounts, and evaluate customer needs to suggest appropriate products. In addition to meeting and exceeding sales goals and quotas, the representative must demonstrate strong business acumen to protect the interests of TFC, its supplier partners, and valued customers. Effective time management is crucial to meet order deadlines and delivery dates. The role also involves resolving issues with buyers in a timely manner, demonstrating leadership qualities, and participating in regular team sales meetings. The representative should be comfortable speaking publicly about products and events during staff training or promotional events. The position requires a clean driving record and a valid state driver's license, as travel within the established geographic areas is necessary. The representative will also ensure accounts are current on payments and assist in collecting payments when necessary. Respectful treatment of all employees, management, vendors, and customers is expected at all times. The role may also involve physical exertion, including lifting products weighing between 20 to 40 lbs occasionally. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
