As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in transforming the future of home building and helping make the dream of home ownership more achievable. This position requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to identify products and services that meet those requirements. You will represent the company during the sales process, acting as a liaison between customers and our technical/design staff to develop tailored sales proposals. In this role, you will be responsible for developing sales contracts for a variety of projects, including residential, multi-family, and commercial. This involves collecting specification information from clients' engineers or architects and effectively communicating their needs to our technical staff. You will also troubleshoot complex field issues and conduct sales presentations for both current and prospective customers. Your ability to design professional demonstrations of our products and services will be key in showcasing how we can meet specific customer needs. Additionally, you will be expected to research and solicit new customers, generating sales opportunities through a thorough understanding of client needs and industry competition. Continuous communication with customers about our products and services is essential, as is participating in leadership roles, such as chairing meetings and training less experienced sales staff. You will also prepare reports and documentation for management and enhance your knowledge of sales techniques through company-sponsored training programs. Safety is a priority, and you will be expected to understand and observe all safety procedures to prevent injury to yourself and others.
