As a W.B. Mason Market Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and introducing new categories of business. Your primary responsibility will be to enroll new customers by effectively presenting W.B. Mason's extensive web capabilities, catalogs, flyers, and a full range of products. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, where you will travel throughout assigned marketplaces to engage with prospective customers, ensuring they are well-informed about our offerings and how they can benefit their businesses. In this role, you will be expected to distribute marketing materials to both current and prospective clients, demonstrating merchandise to enhance their product knowledge. You will also be responsible for quoting and providing contracted pricing as necessary, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service. Building and maintaining strong relationships with new customers is essential, particularly during the onboarding process, to guarantee their satisfaction and success with our products. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with Inside Sales specialists to convert lists of prospective customer sales leads into actual sales. You will perform necessary account setups via MasonvilleGO, facilitating a seamless transition of accounts to the account management team. Regular attendance at weekly Branch Sales Meetings will be required, along with the completion of any other duties as assigned by management.
