About the position

The Outside Sales Representative for EquipmentShare is responsible for expanding the customer base within the Advanced Solutions rental location. This role focuses on building relationships with contractors and construction company principals, promoting equipment rentals in climate control, compressed air, fluid solutions, and power solutions. The position offers a competitive compensation structure with uncapped commission and a base salary, along with various benefits to support employee well-being and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage territory and execute full sales strategy including market analysis, sales forecasting, and revenue growth.
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads and requests using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Develop new business and acquire clients by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and promote additional services.
  • Promptly address and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience with a strong sales track record.
  • Knowledge of Pump, Power & HVAC equipment or industry, preferably in rental or construction.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay educated on products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a preference for team-oriented work.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B sales is preferred but not required.
