About the position

The Outside Sales Representative (Pump, Power & HVAC) at EquipmentShare is responsible for expanding the customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. This role involves educating clients on how EquipmentShare's solutions can enhance their operations and improve efficiency. The position is based in Richmond, VA, and offers a competitive pay structure with uncapped commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests
  • Expand the existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals
  • Educate customers on how EquipmentShare can help save them money and operate more efficiently
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • Tenacious and innovative with superior sales skills
  • Industry knowledge in rental or construction preferred but not required
  • Experience in B2B sales preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay educated on EquipmentShare products and services
  • Competitive mindset with a team-oriented approach.
